Silent Meditation continues every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Come into the quietness of the sanctuary and feel the Spirit’s presence as you meditate and pray.
This is an unguided time of 30 minutes in silence. Some call it Contemplative Prayer, others Meditation. Whatever you name it, everyone is welcome. This is a time to give yourself an opportunity to be still, to calm yourself at the end of a busy day, to relax and let your burdens go, to sit and give thanks for all your blessings….
“Prayer is not primarily saying words or thinking thoughts. It is, rather, a stance. It’s a way of living in the Presence, living in awareness of the Presence, and even of enjoying the Presence. The full contemplative is not just aware of the Presence, but trusts, allows, and delights in it.” Fr. Richard Rohr
